I agree. I just moved to GA from FL - & depending on if GA hops on board, will determine if we homeschool here to back in FL! ALL states should allow this!

Thanks! I just put in a request for that Family of Readers book at the library. Samuel loves to be read to, but I swear on the ground I walk on I don't want to read Go, Thomas, Go! one more time this month ;) It may be time to swap out some of the more ridiculous books for some more of the classics...for my sanity.

I am really hoping Georgia gets with the program. Honestly, access to sports and activities will be a huge deciding factor on if we homeschool through high school. Both my husband and I were athletes through college, and I want my kids to have the opportunity to play sports in college as well {if that interests them}. It is just so much harder to get noticed if you aren't on a high school team.

Godspeed with the Thomas stuff. It started with a library book for us. He loved it so much we bought him a Thomas Little Engineers set for his birthday last June.

Here is a tip: Target sells Circo trains that are compatible with everything Thomas and are only $1-$3 each...instead of the $15-$30 most Thomas trains are. You can find them on the shelves UNDER the Thomas stuff at Target in open boxes just filled with trains, cars, etc.

We actually own 4 legit Thomas trains. The other 291,410 trains we own are IKEA and Circo - both compatible with his Thomas track.

Also, there is a Thomas the Tank magazine that is mailed every 6 or so weeks that is AMAZING. So many great activities and stories. Totally worth every penny. Samuel reads it over and over again and loves the activities.
