Ranch Burgers

Last Tuesday {yes, I am a week behind} Nathan made these burgers for dinner.  I had to work and go to Junior League, so he had to get dinner on the table {twice last week!}.  This was so simple, and I was able to tell him the recipe while I sat in traffic in Midtown.

You’ll also notice the pictures are WAY nicer than the ones I usually post from my iPhone.  Nathan is a fabulous photographer, and he has a Canon Rebel XTi that he uses for almost all of his photos.  He used it for these.  I may just have to start having him photograph all of my meals when I cook!

Ranch Burgers

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/4 lbs ground beef
  • 1/2 packet ranch dressing mix
  • 1/2 onion

Directions:

  1. Chop the onion into small pieces.
  2. In a bowl, mix the ground beef, ranch dressing mix, and onion.
  3. Shape into patties {Nathan made them square}.
  4. On an indoor grill at 350 degrees, cook the patties.
  5. Top with cheddar cheese.
  6. Serve! {Nathan ate his with baked beans}

Grade: A

Comments: According to Nathan, the ranch flavor is not strong but it definitely adds something.  They were easy to make, and he would definitely make them again!
