Pregnancy Update!

Um, I am almost 23 weeks pregnant!  I do not like how fast this is going.  We have so much going on the next few weeks that I know it will fly by: moving to our new place, my MBA graduation, flying back to PA for a weekend, and Samuel’s arrival!

Here are some of the major items left on our pregnancy to do list:

  1. Sign up for our childbirth and parenting classes at Northside Hospital.
  2. Finish the letters for Samuel’s nursery.  Here they are after one coat of paint:
  3. Pick up The Baby Book by Dr. Sears.
  4. Start interviewing pediatricians {maybe we’ll do this.  I may just ask my OB for a recommendation and go with it.}
  5. Finish registering!
  6. Make the mobile for Samuel’s nursery.
  7. Interview nannies and/or decide if someone is going to stay-at-home.
  8. Cook & freeze meals for when we first get home with Samuel.
  9. Install the car seat and take it to the fire station to make sure it is safely in there.
  10. Pick out our birth announcements, and order the envelopes so I can address them before Samuel gets here.
  11. Pack hospital bag.
  12. Wash Samuel’s clothes.
  13. Buy any items we need at the last minute.
  14. Consider getting a second car.  We only have a Ford Fusion that is “technically” mine, but we haven’t had a need for two cars.  I really want a Lincoln Aviator or Ford Edge.  Maybe I’ll finally get one!

Those are only the major things!  I have a slew of craft projects I want to do myself, but with school and work I don’t know if I can get them done.  We’ll see what happens.

Am I missing anything?

What a wonderful time for you! My son and daughter are young adults now, but I can still remember how you are feeling right now. Enjoy every minute. You won’t believe it now, but it goes by in a blink.

Many blessings for your new family. :)

Just saw this on FoodBlogs and thought I’d pop over. What a coincidence. I’m a food blogger and I’m 24 weeks preggo with our second! Yay! Congratulations and sounds like you have everything pretty organized.

I remember those last couple of months being so hectic!

Stephanie-
Please mark off your list the baby book by Dr Sears….I know you have the same last name and all but, but I believe you will not agree with this type of parenting. When I had Colin I started reading it-I believe each baby is unique and special and just couldn’t get into Sears ways. But if you truly want to read it let me know I will send you my copy! :)
