Oatmeal with Brown Sugar and Cinnamon

Everyone loves an easy breakfast on a weekday.  I love quick oats, and I always come up with new ways to make it interesting.  This is one of my favorites, and it is easier than 1-2-3!

Oatmeal with Brown Sugar and Cinnamon

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup quick oats
  • 1 tbs brown sugar
  • 1/2 tbs ground cinnamon
  • water

Directions:

  1. Fill kettle with water, and set to boil on the stove.
  2. Meanwhile, mix oatmeal, brown sugar, and ground cinnamon in a bowl.
  3. Add preferred amount of boiling water.

Grade: A

Comments: Oatmeal is so healthy, and there are so many ways to eat it without buying those pre-packaged servings.  I love getting creative with oatmeal, and this recipe is just delicious!

You are right about it being *so* much healthier this way, and it really couldn’t get any easier. :)
